Adaptations
A very Important animal that adapts to the climate conditions of the boreal forest are beavers. They rely highly on trees because it is not only a great source for building shelter but can also be classified as food. When a beaver is in need of protection they will use the trees to build a dam to not only protect them from predators, but also to sustain flood control and provide a pond or water reservoir. Trees Play an important role in maintaining the beaver species alive,. Once the cold weather arrives during the winter, the shelter built from trees keeps the beavers safe and alive away from other predators.
Biodiversity
The Boreal Forest is in the middle to lower half of the conservation risk graph for biodiversity. In comparison to other biomes, the Boreal Forest is better off, especially more than multiple areas in South America and the mid to east United States.
